I was a part of the Highlights Foundation Chautauqua Writer's Workshop Faculty in July 2008. It was truly an awesome experience getting to meet with other writers from the US and Canada for a week of fellowship and immersion into the art and craft of children's writing/illustrating.  Many thanks to Kent, Chris, Judy, Kim, and all the Highlights staff for making this a a week to remember. Best wishes on your 25th anniversary conference in 2009.
